Personal timeline

In this project we had to make an alternate timeline about events which define us as a person. Although many of my events are random, they have somewhat shaped who I am today. In short, I feel like this timeline describes me as a humble, funny Scotsman who loves art and golf, who cares for others and now studies at SCAD, aspiring to work in a large Advertising firm in the future.

I wanted a simple design for my timeline, which is easy to follow and very basic. Originally, the background pictures were not in the timeline, and although the timeline looked scary and simple as I wanted, it was too basic and needed another element. I decided to add photos to my timeline which described each event. This helped to make the overall image more interesting aswell as adding a personal touch and humour to the composition.

However, the colour scheme is slightly off, and arguably it distracts from the attractive basic design of the timeline. I have converted it to black and white and made some of the pictures more opaque. I also changed one of the photos as it was quite hard to make out in black and white.
